" The only truly secure system is one that is powered off, cast in a block of concrete and sealed in a lead-lined room with armed guards - and even then I have my doubts."
Dr. Eugene H. Spafford

CDC - Cyber Defense Competition
A one of it's kind contest in the US, organized by Information Assurance Student's Group (IASG), Iowa State University. The second CDC took place on 18th - 19th November 2005, where 12 student teams comprising of 4 members each had to defend a network (created by them) against Pro Hackers for a period of 19 hrs at a stretch.
Defending our systems against hackers was one hell of an experience. They kept scanning and attacking us, but we fought back ... they took down our DNS and Programming server , we recuperated. The atmosphere was electric, the war wasn't over until the last packet hit us ...!!!
