Welcome
My name is Joel Baskett and I have created this web site to show off my competencies and abilities for future employers. I am currently enrolled at Iowa State University as a Sophomore in Agriculture Systems Technology (AST). Within AST I have chosen the Industrial Systems Option with an emphasis on Machine systems.
I grew up in a small town in Idaho next to the Snake River where I helped on the family farm. We grew many crops including field corn, sugar beets, winter wheat and our most intense and profitable crop was onions. Since I have been in Iowa I have seen the onions from my home valley used in Iowa State Dinning Services. I never thought that I would see the onions that I potenionaly grew end up all the way out here.
