Background

On this page, I will not give a detailed description of my life, but rather tell briefly about the main events. Let's start from the beginning...

I was born on June 15, 1975 in town called Nikolaev. My hometown is situated in the Southwestern part of Ukraine, a two hours drive from the Black Sea.

I graduated from the Specialized English school, where we studied English from the first grade. It's called Specialized because there are only two schools out of fifty in town where English is taught from the first grade. I was lucky to study in one of these schools.

I also graduated from the Music school, where I learned to play the piano. I studied there for seven years.

After graduating from high school, I studied for one year in a Vocational school, where I acquired the profession of accountant. I worked as accountant for almost four years at a hospital in Nikolaev.

In September 1998, I entered Wisconsin International University in Kiev, Ukraine. I spent one year studying Management. In August 1999, I transferred to Iowa State University to the Management Information Systems program. However, after deciding that I do not want to spend more time in business, I changed my major to Technical Communication.
