ISU FOUNDATION ANNUAL REPORT WINS 'BEST OF SHOW'
AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa State University Foundation has received a national "Best of Show" in the 13th Annual Admissions Advertising Awards. The ISU Foundation received the best of show for its 1996- 1997 annual report, produced by a team of Foundation staff members headed by Dalene Abner, director of public relations.
The best of show honor was given to 13 entries submitted into the competition by both public and private colleges and universities, ranging in size from 2,000 to more than 10,000 students.
In the category it was submitted -- Annual Reports of Universities over 10,000 Students-- the annual report also received the only gold awarded.
Sponsored by the Admissions Marketing Report, the annual competition features publications, advertising, and marketing materials for higher education. Entries are judged on the highest production standards, creativity, and professionalism.
The ISU Foundation Annual Report featured a cover photograph of the Reiman Gardens campanile and highlighted many of Iowa State's prominent supporters.
