Interior design seniors work with Ames clientsSenior interior design students presented design solutions for 13 Ames retail businesses and a new headquarters and museum for the Ames Historical Society Monday (Dec. 11). The designs, created in their senior studio class, were exhibited during an open house at the Ames Public Library. The assignments allowed students to experience a design project working with clients and analyzing project needs in a real world context. "These projects are meant to provide value to both the students and the local clients," said Lori Brunner, assistant professor of art and design. |
