Sloss Sloss to Hall of FameMargaret Wragg Sloss, the first woman to earn the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Iowa State, will be inducted (posthumously) into the Iowa Women's Hall of Fame on Saturday. Sloss, for whom ISU's Margaret Sloss Women's Center is named, also was a longtime professor at Iowa State and a leader for women in the sciences. She died in 1979.
