Get the scoop on kitty's litter box problems at ISU pet care seminar, Dec. 6

AMES, Iowa -- An Iowa State University veterinarian will offer cat owners an overview of causes for litter box-related difficulties during a pet care seminar at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, in 2532 Veterinary Medicine building. The seminar is free and open to the public.

During the one-hour session, Dr. Kim Langholz will explain various reasons cats choose not to use the litter box, including medical, hormonal or stress; and other litter box management problems. She'll also talk briefly about minimizing holiday hazards for cats. Langholz is a community practice veterinarian at the College of Veterinary Medicine's Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
