Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to view student exhibits. This year's theme for the show is "Spektrum," which describes the wide array of colors, themes and ideas behind garment designs. Tickets are $20 ($15 for students) and are on sale through Ticketmaster, (515) 233-1888 or www.Ticketmaster.com, the Iowa State Center Ticket Office (515) 294-2479 or toll free at 1-877-THE-CENTER (843-2368). The show will feature student-created casual, collection (casual, urban, children's) and evening wear designs, in addition to Best of Show and graduate competitions. The show also will feature cutting-edge, digitally printed fashions. A special guest at this year's show is Oliver Helden, New York City. Helden, who designs his own men's wear line, also is a technical director for Marc by Marc Jacobs--New York City.
