All workshops will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Dates and locations are as follows:
The workshops are part of the Iowa Industries of the Future (IIOF) program to study water use and wastewater treatment issues in Iowa industries. The program was launched in 2001 and is managed by CIRAS. The Iowa Energy Center is a key partner in the initiative. Earlier this summer, IIOF surveyed existing industry practices in Iowa. Workshop presenters will share survey results and encourage business and industry representatives to help create continuous improvement measures that can be implemented across Iowa's industrial sector. IIOF projects are funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and coordinated by the energy and waste management bureaus of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
