IOWA STATE ANNOUNCES GIFTS FROM CARGILL SEPT. 12
AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University will announce gifts of intellectual property -- valued at a combined total of more than $16 million -- from Cargill, Incorporated, Minneapolis, at 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union on the Iowa State campus.
The gifts from Cargill include two state-of-the-art computer software programs. It is expected that these gifts will position Iowa State as a leader in manufacturing, engineering and agriculture technology. The event will include senior Cargill executives and top Iowa State officials.
