BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS EDITOR TO KEYNOTE
ISU WORKSHOP JUNE 13
AMES, Iowa -- Karol DeWulf Nickell, editor-in-chief of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, will be the keynote speaker at the Iowa State University College of Family and Consumer Sciences' (FCS) annual summer workshop for FCS educators.
Nickell's presentation, "Understanding the Attitudes of the American Family Today," will be Thursday, June 13, at 9 a.m. in MacKay Auditorium. Registration is $15; the deadline is June 7.
Workshop topics include what's new in consumer trends, design, housing, food and family life. Participants also will tour the remodeled Universal Design Learning Lab at Iowa State.
