'DESIGNING AFTER DISASTER' FORUM AT ISU MONDAY, OCT. 22
AMES, Iowa -- "Designing After Disaster," a forum examining issues of architecture and engineering in the aftermath of the destruction of the World Trade Towers, will be at Iowa State University on Monday, Oct. 22.
The forum will be at 8 p.m. in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
Forum panelists will be Mark Stankard, an assistant professor of architecture who teaches the history of architecture and was a finalist in the Oklahoma City Memorial competition; Mira Engler, an associate professor of landscape architecture who researches reclamation of landscapes; and Robert Abendroth, an associate professor in civil and construction engineering who teaches building design and structural steel design.
Jim Bolluyt, assistant professor in civil and construction engineering, will moderate.
