About Me

I am currently a Ph.D. student at Iowa State University in the field of Computer Science. I received my M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Islamic Azad University at 2016 and 2012, respectively. Also, I hold B.A. and A.A. in "English Language Teaching". My First research backs to 2011, when I participated in a local conference for presenting my solution for "minimizing the manifold Boolean functions". Afterwards, I published some papers in different areas including: distributed systems, cloud computing, image processing, malware analysis and teaching methodology. Also, I have some research experience in consensus algorithms (in HPCs) and machine learning.

Since 2006, I have been working as a full-time teacher in national schools of Iran - including a 2-year tuition (A.A. in ELT); and passed more than 500 hours of in-service courses. Also, I work as a part-time web developer in NPAG & EHMO since 2015.

My research interest

I have always liked to explore new scopes. So far, I performed some research in the following scopes:

  • Resource allocation in cloud computing
  • Replication in distributed systems
  • Community detection in large scale graphs
  • Metamorphic malware classification
  • Watermarking and steganography
  • Teaching methodologies and text-book analysis
  • Requirements engineering
  • Consensus algorithms (Paxos and Raft) in high-throughput systems *
  • Influential users detection in social networks *
* My paper in this scope is not published yet.
