The Reason for this Site

I am a recent gradute of the ISU masters program in Art and Design (Intermedia), which probably won't sink in until it comes time to start paying back those loans.

This site started as a simple way to show my work, and quickly has just overdeveloped into a repository for all of my thesis work and artistic work.

3D Experimentation

I am known in the College of Design for being nosy - I can't stand watching someone struggle to use software to translate their ideas without wanting to help them. This site is one way I can help. It is, in fact, how I got my current job!

This is not a cookbook approach - it is a learning approach. I am not intending to describe exactly everything that needs to be done when working on a 3D model or a web page. Most of how I learned was by trial and error, and that gives a person the ability to figure out how to deal with things when they go wrong. The ability to think on the fly is a valuable addition to anyone.
