Clipping Plane Solution

Thank you to Clifford Schinkel, saver of my sanity, for this workaround! Here is his original message regarding the Clipping Plane problem. Good Job!

This can be either easy or complicated to fix, depending on what geometry is disappearing.

If you have large geometries, which are disappearing, you'll need to cut them down into a group of smaller pieces. So, if you have a floor which is being clipped, you'll want to cut it into four or more pieces.

Example-

1. Copy the problem object.

2. Paste the copy.

3. Go into the workshop. Select the square tool and, making sure the object outline is NOT selected, create a new square outline which covers only a quarter of the original outline.

4. Select the old outline and delete it.

5. Exit the workshop.

6. Repeat steps 2-5 until your object is complete.

7. Use the sequencer to group the objects.

8. Change the surfaces of the child objects to "Use Parent's Surface", by clicking the box on the surface tab.

This works for extruded objects, such as walls and floors. I have used this method with consistent results.
