Hi! I'm Cameron Neff, and this is my current student homepage. This page was created in my English 314 class at Iowa State University in beautiful yet boring Ames, Iowa.

As the title above suggests, I'm an engineering major -- specifically, I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Classes are hard, hours are long, but the work IS fun... at times. This site is constantly under construction, so please bear with me if links don't work or if you see any type-o's or other ugly things.

To tell a little about myself, I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1984. I went to school, kindergarten through high school, at Center Point - Urbana (CPU) near Cedar Rapids. After graduation, I wanted to go into engineering, because I love tinkering with things, and I especially like trying to make machines more efficient. Ideally, I would like to work with alternative energy conversion systems, like in the application of solar cells, Hdrogen fuel cells, or wind/wave generators. Another ideal career would be working on anything concerned with planes, military or commercial. I've always been a HUGE plane buff, so working on engineering aspects of planes would be great. Sooner or later I'm also getting a pilot's license.

Aside from academics and aspirations, in my free time I like fixing up my car -- a 1996 Honda Civic EX, manual transmission with a single-overhead VTEC-enabled D16Y8 engine. I also like trying out new restaurants/coffeeshops, pseudo-playing guitar and learning new songs, and reading Sci-Fi books or "the classics". I'm currently a member of ASME, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and AIAA, the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics.

That's all I have to say about myself, and I don't want to ramble on while I have a nifty navigation page to the left that you should find quite useful. So please check out the rest of the site, and if you have any questions, comments, or generally anything to tell me, please feel free to use the form provided below to email me. Thanks for stopping by!
