Themes from Research on Mentoring Program

Effective mentoring programs include common elements. These elements clearly emerged from a careful review of the mentoring models and the process established for each.

These elements include providing visions for the use of technology in teaching and learning, individualizing technology support (personal fit), breaking down hierarchical structure, establishing open dialogue and collaborative relationships, providing mutual benefits for mentors and mentees, and establishing learning communities.
