Current Research Opportunities

We are using an integrated experimental/biocomputational approach to understand the factors that regulate plant development and composition. A practical consequence of this work is that it will affect our ability to use molecular technologies to direct plants, a biorenewable energy source, to accumulate large quantities of industrially-useful chemicals, and improve our food supply.

I have two research positions (graduate student and postdoctoral) open in the areas of Plant Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, and Computational Biology. I also have research opportunities for two motivated undergraduates with an interest in bioinformatics and skills in computer science/mathematics.
If you are interested, send me a copy of your cv plus a brief description of your own research interests and how they relate to the research in my lab. For the postdoctoral position, also have letters sent from three references. If you would like more information, please email or call.
