Interests

As mentioned in the “Background Education” swimming is one of my interests. I started swimming when I was 7 for the local summer league. When I was 9 I joined a club team and swam there for a few years. As time went on we changed club teams here and there but still every summer swam on that same summer league team with a bunch of my friends. We swam for the high school team and lettered all 4 years. My senior year we placed at state in relays and multiple events. Some of my friends went on to swim in college and others including myself decided that we had swum competitively enough. This past summer I coached that same summer league team and really enjoyed it so I guess you could say another one of my interests is coaching.

I also enjoy playing video games and playing guitar. Recently some of my friends and I have started playing Smash Bros for Nintendo 64 again. Some of my other favorites would include Halo, Call of Duty, Oblivion, and Little Big Planet.

My Favorite band of all time would have to be The Killers. Other th an that I pretty much also like any other alternative band such as The Strokes, The Kooks, Airborne Toxic Event etc.

I really enjoy travelling, especially to Europe. My senior year of high school I went on a trip in French class to France. We spent a week in Paris making various day trips out to Normandy and Versailles. Coincidentally enough my parents temporarily live in the UK so this past summer I went and visited them. London was a very cool city full of history and good food. The Cliffs of Dover are one of my favorite things I saw when I was over there.
