Month #3

Three months down, fifteen to go!  Friday, October 17 was three months to the day since I got my braces.  I had my second adjustment on Monday, October 20. Things went really well: I got a new wire (my ortho called it a "20", and I assume that refers to the gauge of wire) on both my uppers and lowers. Yowzer! I could instantly tell that things were going to be uncomfortable for a while. He also put a power chain on my lowers to close the extraction gap. I chose the color burgundy to celebrate autumn. I would have picked orange, but I thought it might look like I had Cheetos stuck in my teeth. :)
