Target students
To maximize our students’ benefits from class, we must limit the admission to the classes to ensure our learning goal congruence. Therefore, as a potential student, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be highly motivated and willing to work to improve your English pronunciation and speaking abilities.
- Have English speaking ability more or less at an intermediate level, with your pronunciation being one of your major problems. An informal interview will be arranged to assess your oral English after you complete the application.
- Be an international graduate or a visiting scholar at ISU, preferably new to the community.
- Commit to no more than one absence from class under any circumstance.
