Notes from Newsletter Editor

Greetings and Welcome to the Spring edition of the CSNA Newsletter!

This newsletter will be shorter than the previous edition and focus on just a few topics. The primary subject is the 2005 CSNA-Interface joint meeting in St. Louis. The early registration and abstract deadline is Saturday, April 9th. We hope members take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy what promises to be a very exciting conference. I'll let the other notes speak for themselves. As always, suggestions, comments, and news items are welcome.

      Best regards,
      Mike

CSNA's Website Has Moved

As planned and described by CSNA Webmaster Dave Dubin in the last issue of the Newsletter, the CSNA website has moved from the University of Pittsburgh server, to a new host at the University of Illinois ISRL (which also hosts the IFCS website). The new address is http://www.classification-society.org/csna/csna.html .

In addition to the server change, Dave will be experimenting with some dynamically generated and interactive content for both the CSNA and IFCS websites. He plans to make occasional announcements (on the sites and in the newsletter) inviting members to try out a demo or survey. They may seem trivial, but your participation will help him work out some bugs before a more complex enhancement to the site is undertaken.
