There are many areas that can cause worry and uncertainty when planning to transfer colleges. One of these worries can be minimized and eliminated by doing some research and planning ahead. Knowing what your options are for financial aid is the first step in the process of planning your finances. This chapter will help you understand what there is out there for you, but remember to meet with a financial aid advisor at your prospective school.  It is important to do this before transferring.
