Chapter 5: Building the Transfer Bridge

Overview

There are a number of things you can do while attending a community college to prepare you for the transfer process. Chapter five provides some of the details on how to make the community college experience the best it can possibly be, and tips to prepare you for a new school. A few of the key points include academics, developing good study skills, how to use campus resources, getting involved, and learning communities. Planning and practicing for transfer while at the community college will pay large dividends in the end.
