What is STEM?
Science: Knowledge generally obtained through testing that explains the physical world in terms of truths and universal laws Technology: Application of knowledge in a specific area generally using a technical method Engineering: Design and manufacturing of an idea or product using science and mathematics Mathematics: Understanding of numbers and their operations Mathematics is the core of all STEM majors. Then they build upon each other. Therefore, there are an infinite number of majors and careers within STEM, so if you are having difficulty finding your major, don’t give up!
