CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Register now through the ACTE website. You may register online or print a pdf registration form to send by regular mail. Registrations after November 8 will be accepted only on-site in Atlanta.

Note that registration fees are structured to encourage early registration. Early registration has a lower rate than last minute registration. Deadlines are:
Early Bird – July 13
Advance – July 14–October 29
Post-Advance – after October 29

As in past years, you have the option to register for the ACTER–OTT–Academy Conference by itself or in combination with the ACTE Vision 2012 (formerly known as the ACTE Convention). 

You also have the option to pay your ACTER membership dues with your conference registration. This option is particularly helpful to those of you who need to pay dues by credit card.

CONFERENCE ATTRACTIONS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

Conference planners want graduate students and their advisors to know that students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Here are some of the conference features for graduate students:

  • Poster sessions are open to everyone and are suited to novice researchers. The poster session will be combined with the reception hour this year to enable poster authors to present their work in a non-threatening atmosphere.
  • A continental breakfast will be available for graduate students who attend the Fireside Chat led by the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education (http://www.theuniversitycouncil.org/). The fireside chat will offer graduate students the opportunity to meet and learn from faculty members from other universities and will provide students with breakfast sustenance that won't add to their travel costs.
  • ACTER will award stipends at the closing session for students who attend the conference. Students must be present at the closing session to receive their stipends.

CHANGES IN THE CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

ACTER, The Academy, and OTT are proud to announce a new schedule for the CTE Research and Professional Development Conference. The new plan will eliminate conflict with ACTE sessions while retaining the best features of our conference. 

**Please note the changes because they will be important when you plan your flight and lodging. 
The conference will begin with lunch on Tuesday and conclude at the end of Wednesday afternoon–before ACTE sessions begin Thursday morning. The attached file provides more detail.
