Apr. 30: Here are some solutions to problems from 14.6 and 14.7: I wrote
them for a previous class. The numbering is different, but they are 14.6: 6, 8,
12, and 14.7: 4,
8.
Apr. 28: The final exam is on Monday May 4, 7:00-9:00PM, in Carver 101.
It is comprehensive. There are some old final exams
on the math department
website here.
Apr. 17: I haven't finished 14.3 yet, so I will collect homework on
Tuesday, if you questions about it on Monday.
Mar. 2: Exam #2 will be on Friday, March 6 in class. It will cover all of
Chapter 12. There is no homework due next week, but I have posted a few problems
from 12.9 for you to work on (but not turn in). We will discuss some of them on
Thursday.
Feb. 9: I've uploaded my gradesheet above. The ID column is the last 4
digits of your student ID
Feb. 2: The first exam is on Friday, February 6 in class. It will cover
all of Chapter 11
Jan. 30: Problem 11.7 #30 doesn't make sense, as the velocity
vector is 0 at pi/2. You may skip this problem or calculate at t = pi/4
instead.
