Announcements:
Apr 25: The Final Exam is on Monday, April 30, 4:30-6:30, in Carver 001. It is comprehensive, but more focussed on Chapter 17. There is no homework due over the Divergence Theorem or Stokes's Theorem, but I've put up sample solutions to 17.6 #4, #6, #10 and 17.7 #4, #8. Some old final exams can be found here
Apr 9: I've added two columns to the grades page. "HW Tot." is the sum of your 10 highest homework scores up to now. "Total" is your total score up to now weighted according to the percentages in the syllabus.
Apr 2: The third exam will be on Tuesday April 10 covering Chapter 16. You can turn in the last homework for Chapter 16 on Friday if you want it graded before the test. Otherwise, I'll still take it on Monday.
Mar 6: By request I have posted the review problems I planned for Tuesday and (mostly) didn't get to.
Mar 2: Problem 16 on 15.9 requires Lagrange Multipliers for two constraints which I didn't have time to cover on Friday. Try it if you like, but I won't be grading it. I'll probably talk about it on Monday.
Feb 26: The next test is Thursday, March 8, not Tuesday as originally scheduled. It covers Chapter 15. Homework is due on Monday as usual.
Feb 2: I've posted all the homework over material that will be on the test Friday, February 9 (Chapters 13 and 14). Make sure the assignment you turn in this Monday is the right one.
Jan 17: There is a link to grades above. ID means the last 4 digits of your Student ID
Jan 10: All of HW 1 is posted. It is due Tuesday, January 16, since there is no school Monday. Here is an animation of the construction of a cycloid.
