Exams: There will be two in-class exams, an evening mid-term exam, and a final exam. All exams can be assumed comprehensive.
Quizzes: There will be a short quiz every Friday (except test weeks) over the material covered that week. Bring your own paper. There will be no make-up quizzes. Instead, your lowest two scores will be dropped at the end of the semester. Quiz problems will generally be variations of problems from the “Suggested Problems”.
Homework: I will post a list of “Suggested Problems” on the website. I recommend working these problems, but you are not required to turn them in. During the semester I will occasionally assign some more interesting (read “difficult”) problems to be handed in. These should be written up more nicely than usual homework.
Calculators: Using a graphing calculator will help tremendously in this course, but remember to always show your work, especially with integrals. Answers with no work will get no credit.
