We were very lucky to get the opportunity to run this meet; the meet had been postponed from the week before. The course is great for young cross country runners having them run through the woods, prairie, and around a small lake. The boys and girls also ran their race together but were scored separately. The boys ran another great race with Ben Mossman and Ryan Heinrichs running as number one and two for the Lynx. Tristan Graham, Guillermo Tejeda Perez, and Jacob Perin ran very well to finish out the top five runners for the Lynx. In the girls’ race, Lynne Chalfant led the way for the Lynx once again finishing 3rd overall and improving her best time by over 30 seconds. Carly Huber, Sarah Paukert, Megan Hughes, and Kenady Highland have been consistent top five finishers for the Lynx. |
