This I thought was going to be the easiest assignment, but was wrong once again (If you've been reading down this list you've probably noticed a pattern forming). I had already learned HTML coding, albeit in 7th grade. As it turns out that has helped me tremendously, but that is just a small portion of the work I have had to do for this portfolio.
I guess any art student could tell you this but even just figuring out what to put inside a portfolio is a difficult task, not helped by the fact that any assignment I had done this semester qualified as a candidate. This gathering of information took some time, but what really assured some sleepless nights was the clause in the assignment that I had to write these reflections about each assignment.
Some people have no problem talking about themselves and their accomplishments, that person is not me. I'd like to think that everything I make is perfect, something I know to be false, but still. I think ''What is the point of reflecting on this assignment, it's done, let's move on.'' The point is by examining your previous work you can then use the lessons from that to improve your later work. That is something that I had to learn in a hurry for this assignment and continue to use to make all of my work the best that it can be.
