Ellipsometry

Ellipsometry is very useful tool to get optical properties like dielectric constants, optical conductivity.

The principles of ellipsometry are well explained in else ware. Ellipsometry measures the psi and delta from the Fourier component. From psi and delta you can get dielectric constants.

RAE(Rotating Analyzer Ellipsometry) is using calcite prism with 50Hz rotating analyzer. Spectral range is 1.5 - 5.5 eV with PMT. And 0.5 - 1.5 eV with PbS photo detector. Angle of incidence is set to 70 degree to optimize the signal.
