About Me

Hello! My name is James Lockard-Nobile. I am 32 years old and I am a sophmore in the Software Engineering program at Iowa State University. I began my Iowa journey when I moved here in September of 2012 from my home, the rainy, but beautiful state of Washington.

I am originally from Vancouver, Washington where I lived until I was 25 and eventually moved over to Oregon for work. I lived in Beaverton, Oregon for a year and then moved over to Gresham, Oregon for two more years before making my way to Iowa. I come from a large family and no one was excited for me to move away, but supported me in my desicion.

Since the move, I have made some of the most rewarding desicions of my life. I am now happily married and about to celebrate my first year of marriage. Thanks to my husband, I decided to begin my educational journey. In 2014, I signed up to attend school at Des Moines Area Community College. I graduated in spring of 2016 where I earned my Associates in Science. I transferred to Iowa State University in fall of 2016 and began pursuing my Bachlors of Science in Software Engineering. After graduation I hope to move to Colorado and start a family.

Thats me in a nutshell. Feel free to look around my site and let me know what you think by sending me questions or comments from my contacts page!
