Type papers in conventional double-spaced format.

Include an abstract of 150 words or less as the first section of the paper.

List up to five key words following the abstract.

Use the International System of Units (SI). Where the original data were obtained in English units, the SI equivalents must be shown in parenthesis immediately following the English units.

List all references at the end of the paper in alphabetic order by author's surname. They should be complete and accurate. SSSAJ (Soil Science Society of America Journal) style should be used throughout the paper. When referring to references in the text, type the author's surname followed by the year of publication: Peters (1997) or (Peters, 1997).

Submit each Table and Figure on a separate sheet of paper. Number all Tables and Figures. The Figure captions and Table titles should be typed on a separate sheet of paper.
