NATURE RESTORATION STRATEGY IN THE FAR NORTH
I.B. Archegova

The problem of disturbed land restoration is very actual in the North. It deals with the significant impact on freezing - melting soil regime under technogenic disturbances of soil-vegetative cover, with the slow process of self restoration of the main ecosystem structure and speed development of erosion process.

Preservation of ecological balance under long-term seasonal freezing and permafrost can be realised by the speed up of ecosystem restoration. Our investigations have been carried out in the European North-East and in the Jamal Peninsula. Speed up restoration conception is the soil-vegetative ecosystem component will be consider with the use of intensive agrotechnical methods.

Attention will be paid to the new non-traditional technologies of recultivation process optimisation. The results of experimental applying of the new fertilising - seeding material will be shown.
