What a HUGE Success!
Thank You to EVERYONE who showed up this past Saturday to be a part of the First Annual Templeton 5K Walk/Run. Also, special thanks to all those who donated even though they were unable to make it in person. The turnout was great, the weather was decent, and everyone had a great time. Congratulations to Ross Klocke for winning the event with a time of 19:20 and congratulations to the rest of our winners. We will have a list of all the winners of the various age groups posted soon.
We look forward to building on this years success and look forward to the Second Annual Templeton 5K Walk/Run, which will probably be held in late May of 2009 in hopes of slightly warmer weather :) Thanks again!

Welcome to the First Annual Templeton 5K Walk/Run
For years, Templeton and the surrounding communities have shown great support for families in need. This 5K Walk/Run fundraiser event is a great opportunity to help out a Templeton family that has been battling cancer. All of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Gary and Sheila Schoeppner family. Your generous donations are truly appreciated. The entry fee/donation requirement is $20 per person, youths and adults, with additional donations accepted. We're hoping for great weather and look forward to a fun and exciting day. So come join the fun and make sure to spread the word - the Templeton 5K Walk/Run is right around the corner - Saturday, April 26th, 2008!
