Forbes for PresidentIt is time to select Steve Forbes as the Republican nominee for the 2000 presidential campaign! Steve is the only candidate with a TRULY CONSERVATIVE vision that also has the resources necessary to defeat Bush and, later, the democratic nominee. Steve is also the only candidate who has actually made proposals for reducing the burden of government and returning freedom to the citizens of this nation. The United States needs a man with a conservative vision nad some concrete ideas to lead us into the next century. That man is Steve Forbes. Please visit forbes2000.com for additional information about Steve Forbes. |

I am currently in the co-op program with John Deere at the Des Moines Works. The co-op program is an agreement between the student, the university, and the company to allow the student to alternate periods of work experience with periods of school until graduation. This allows the student to gain valuable experience in the work place as part of his education. This experience makes the student more employable after graduation. I spent a great deal of my time on co-op between January and August 1998, working on projects related to the launch of the new 627 and 637 tandem disks shown below. I have returned to school for the Fall 1998 and Spring 1999 semesters. I worked on the 4700 Sprayer during the summer of 1999. I designed fender supports and supported field test operations for several prototype machines. I traveled all over the Western US and Canada visiting users and collecting comments about the machines and their operation. I will return there to work on test engineering in January, 2000. |

General Motors builds the best line of cars and trucks in the world. GM has a long history of innovation, such as the first to offer an automatic transmission and the first to adopt clear-coat paint on the majority of its vehicles. Other impressive developments include a number of legendary V8 powerplants, America's classics sports car, the Corvette, and the new Chevrolet and GMC pickups.

I am a member of the American Radio Relay League, supporting the interests of amateurs. I have been reviewing and practicing my code skills so I can pass my 13 wpm test and upgrade to a General class license. For facts, information, and opinions about Amateur Radio, this link will take you there. If you have or know of any other good stuff for this page, please let me know. | ![]() |

I must admit that I am hardly knowledgeable in the areas of fabric and quilting. However, my mom, Melinda Engelbrecht, has a good handle on all that stuff and can help you if needed. She has her own custom machine quilting and fabric store, named Quilter's Quarters. If you are into that stuff, please visit her site and pay her a visit sometime. You won't regret it. |
That's my home
page. Questions, comments, and the like are always welcome.
