Background

Currently: Associate Professor, Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management, Iowa State University. My position is focused on teaching, research and being the Associate Director of the North Central Regional Aquaculture Center. Within the College of Agriculture and the University, I have served on committees on Undegraduate Curriculum and the Committee on Animal Care (COAC).

Professionally, I am active in the American Fisheries Society (AFS) as well as the World Aquaculture Society (WAS). I have served as reviewer for both organizations as well as being the state chapter president for the Iowa Chapter of AFS.
