| Frame/Structures: The mounts for the seats were started. The tubing was cut and tacked in place. Jeff Bartels was not in the shop this weekend, so the final welds will be completed during the next week. Fairing: A sample part (possibly the final, depending on how well it turns out) for the nose cone was laid up in fiberglass. Several new ideas for the body construction are evolving, and we are planning a full fairing this year. Drive Train: The cranks are mounted, and the chain routing is being worked on. Several other components have been planned. Controls: The steering is now working, but the handlebars need to be constructed out and up to where the rider will use them. |
