Hi, my name is John Corkery and I am currently a freshmen majoring in engineering. I am not quite certain what field yet, but hopefully I will know soon. Someday I hope to use this education of mine to run my own company or possibly even take over my dad's current company.

I am from a little town named Jesup, which is near Waterloo, Iowa. I was born and raised there on a farm in the middle of a field, like most Iowans. I went to Don Bosco High School, a Catholic high school near my town. I then decided to come to Iowa State to put my math knowledge to good use.

I absolutely love to play sports. As of now, I play basketball a lot. I also like to golf (I play in the sun, rain, and even snow). I enjoy being outdoors and enjoying the nature around me. I'm a huge fan of water skiing, jetskiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling.
