James J. Heckman is the Henry Schultz Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago. Dr. Heckman (with Daniel McFadden) received the 2000 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. Dr. Heckman will present a seminar entitled "The Economics of Investing in Children: The Role of Cognitive and Non-Cognitive Skills."
