Voting membership in the Iowa Chapter is limited to any voting member of TWS residing in the state.  Membership is also open to any person interested in the chapter's objectives and activities, although as non-parent society members they may not hold elected office or vote on official chapter affairs.  Starting with 39 members in 1962, the chapter grew to over 100 members in 1983 and has maintained an average of 70 to 85 members through most of the last decade.
