| I am developing a DNA contig of BAC clones spanning the Rf1 region. The development of a DNA contig encompassing the rf1 locus on chromosome 3 will provide us with the essential foundation for the complete characterization of this interesting region of the maize genome. In addition, this contig will also provide a basis for comparison of functionally related regions in other grass genomes. I am also the webpage curator and lab safety manager. |
