Project Proposal

ILET

The ILET project proposes to engage experts in multimedia and pedagogy to develop strategies appropriate to intercultural learning, where technology is used to link diverse student groups within and beyond the EC and US and in the process to create innovative multidisciplinary open and distance learning and resources for study abroad that reinforces knowledge about Europe and the US.

Professional and private organisations partnered with SITE, MirandNet to promote the diffusion of Intercultural Educational Technology into programs that prepare technology using teacher educators and technology services for faculty across Europe and the US, while also ensuring peer review. The project broadened the impact of the EC and US cooperation by ‘training the trainers’ of faculty involved in open and distance learning.
