11. Writing/Testing Instructions
Tuesday
Activities will include:
- Finish résumé web pages and upload to ISU public server. If you do not already have an ISU web account, register your home page.
- Review presentation on writing instructions and usability testing.
- Group exercise - usability test of library website prototype.
Thursday
Activities will include:
- Using SnagIt and Camtasia to make computer screenshots for print and video.
- Using SketchUp to make simple 3-D illustrations for procedures and instructions.
- Discussion of Chapter 17 on oral communication
- Discussion of oral presentation strategies (with or without software)
- Workshop on effective PowerPoint presentations.
