Haley Dillon
About Me I am a freshman
attending Iowa State University and majoring in Materials Science and
Engineering. This semester I am participating in the Honors Mentor Program,
doing research in the field of gold nanoparticles with Dr. Chenxu Yu. I come from the
small town of Baxter, Iowa, and graduated from Baxter Community School as
the valedictorian in a class of 33. In high school I played soccer, golf,
and volleyball. I also played the clarinet in marching band, pep band,
concert band, and jazz band. My brother, Mark, (shown right) is a junior at
Baxter. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing
rockband with my friends and brother.
