PRAIRIE RESTORATION and NATURAL RESOURCE POLICY
Issues and Conclusion
Prairie once covered the whole state of Iowa. It perhaps could be one of our national symbols of our natural heritage. There is a very small percentage of native prairie that remains in the Midwest of the United States. Are there any natural resource policies that exist and affect these ecosystems, their remnants or their restoration?
