Tips for Community College students
and Admissions Partnership Program (APP) participants:

A completed Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from an Iowa Community College fulfills the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences General Education Requirement (GER), leaving the transfer student only major and elective courses to complete.  Nevertheless, there are items to consider taking while completing your A.A. that will make completing requirements at ISU in two years simpler.

History majors at Iowa State may earn either a B.S. or B.A. in History, with the option of a straight degree in History or taking elective courses to earn a secondary (7-12) History and Social Sciences teaching license.
