Course Distribution Requirement
(2007-2009 and later catalogs)
Beginning with the 2007-2009 Catalog, History majors must complete course work at the 300- or 400-level that fills 5 of 6 regional and chronological groups designated below. A single course may fill two groups (one regional and one chronological). For example, "HIST 307: American Popular Culture," counts toward both "Region I: U.S. History," and "Period III: Modern history (post-1750)."
