The Ada Hayden Herbarium has established a specimen database for Iowa grasses, and will soon be adding data for other families, with an emphasis on the flora of Iowa and other strengths of the herbarium. Other priorities for databases include the Fungi of Iowa Parks and Preserves survey and the
long-term moonwort diversity project.
